- Jazz Guitar virtuoso
Django Reinhardt was
badly burned in a fire and only had full use of 2(!) of his fingers on his left hand...yet still went on to become one of the most amazing guitarsts who ever lived.
- Jerry Garcia got one of
his right hand middle
fingers chopped of with an axe (apparently his brother did this by accident...brothers!).
- Elizabeth Cotton was left handed and learned to play a right handed guitar upside down. Why? Because no one told her she was "doing it wrong"...and thank god for that.
